What Are Base Memories?

Base Memories let you add unique context and personalization to individual AI personas at scale, without spending hours creating scripts and validating outputs. What used to take a day now takes a click.

Why Are Base Memories Useful?

Make Personas Sound More Human

Getting AI personas to react and respond to synthetic surveys like real humans, or hard-to-reach segments, requires guardrails. While you can add context through the survey questions or session level memories, which both get included in the prompt to the LLMs, truly granular insights require persona-level customization. Base Memories give each persona a unique context that makes them sound more like the humans you're trying to understand.

Build Compelling Proof Of Concepts For 'Synthetics'

Base Memories help you create prototype audiences that win stakeholder buy-in. Clone audiences from data sources your stakeholders already trust, like specific social media accounts or survey data, then enrich them with memories from that material. When stakeholders see their own trusted data reflected back, they're more likely to advocate for deeper testing and larger investments.

Better Insights for Underrepresented Segments

Some audience segments aren't well-covered in LLM training data. Base Memories let you fill those gaps with specific context, helping your personas to  accurately represent even difficult-to-reach populations.
